What you need to consider A company has to pinpoint the typical 'problem areas' associated with employees on the road and then proactively implement a series of controls to minimise the potential resulting risks. Typical 'problem areas' can include factors such as driving whilst tired, unreasonable driving schedules or invalid driving licences – research by the Licence Bureau indicates 1 in 100 company car drivers do not hold a valid licence. This creates risk, and if it's your driver it's your responsiblilty – it's that simple in the law's eyes..so you need to be well informed.
